I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries on the Starbucks 2013 Planner and the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf 2013 planner lately. I’ve only seen those from Starbucks but CBTL’s, only on the web. I haven’t had the chance to visit any CBTL branch but based on the photos posted by Alessandra Lanot of lifeafterbreakfast, they look gorgeous!

Alessandra, the owner of that Pipino Vegetarian Restaurant I’ve been raving about, creatively worked on this planner. According to her, she worked with Dar and Em of Belle de Jour Power Planner, Beam Mariano of ArtWine, and freelance photographer Ralph Hilario. I remember Alessandra as the writer Alessandara Libongco of my generation’s Young Star. She was a writer then but now, she is an art teacher and a DIY and crafts queen.

I’ve mentioned already that I’m also into do-it-yourself and crafts because I’m a homemaker becoming Martha. And so the CBTL 2013 Planner has become more appealing. I’m sold on the 12 sticker requirement but seeing the inside pages made me drool.

What’s better is that with the CBTL 2013 Giving Journal, the company gives back to the community by donating a percentage of the profits to the Real Life Foundation. I know Starbucks also gives a donation to SparkHope but the inside of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s Planner are more attractive. It’s made by creative hands so that makes it more special. And the fact that you only need to consume 12 drinks, make it a better and wiser choice.

I’m getting a 2013 CBTL Planner too. I think I’d be able to redeem this one first. I’m going to collect all local journals I can find this year not because I hoard-slash-collect but because I’m doing research for a project. I’ll have to spend for these journals but like I said, it would be more special if I receive them as gifts. Heehee. 😉
