I saw this sign while on the way to SM Megamall three weeks ago. As if the “malling” experience wasn’t already exciting, the management of SM still wants to take it to the next level. I was looking for a smaller caption that says ‘Next Level Traffic’ but saw none. Traffic in the area has always been bad as long as I can remember and with the Megamall expansion (yet again!), expect the EDSA-Crossing-Julia-Vargas-Ortigas area to be highly congested.

Christmas is fast approaching and traffic is getting worse each day. We have no car so it’s really not a problem but this means I have to commute– walk and ride a trike or jeepney. No riding a cab either because taxi lanes are longer and I don’t want to spend a lot of money for fare. Kailangan maglakad talaga. Haaay. But then again there’s the next-door Shangrila mall which is nearer and offers a much nicer malling experience. Diba?

So…where are you planning to do your Christmas shopping this year? Are you going to commit suicide by going to SM Megamall? Hehehe. 🙂
